Take a look at this…

It's smaller than a fingertip. It's made of glass. And it's about to reshape AI from the ground up.

Jensen Huang, Nvidia's CEO, says this device is shattering the limitations of AI, and without it, AI can't scale.

Google Ventures says it's the future of AI compute.

And Sequoia Capital the firm that backed Anthropic and OpenAI calls it a "holy grail".

Yet most Americans have never heard of it…

Wall Street insider Jason Bodner the same man who called Nvidia at $4.50 says this critical "light-speed" device could be bigger for AI than GPUs… and it's about to launch a whole new wave of AI winners. And to prove it, he's giving away his #1 stock involved with it for free.

Elena's letter is fiction. The forces that shape her world are not. Every detail in this transmission is already live… in August 2026.
AI
~2030
Elena's Kestrel-3 reactor is fiction. But the nuclear rush behind it isn't. Google is funding Kairos Power. Amazon backed X-Energy. Meta signed deals with two more reactor startups, Oklo and TerraPower. The first small reactors are set to come online around 2030, right when the industry expects the grid to run out of room.

WATER
870%
The Gila Basin Trust doesn't exist yet. But the math behind it is already scary. Phoenix-area data centers use about 385 million gallons of water a year today. That number could hit 3.7 billion gallons… an 870% jump. Two-thirds of data centers built since 2022 sit in places already short on water. Elena's job, weighing gallons against server racks, is coming one way or another.

MONEY
267%
Elena's flat power bill isn't universal. Most people don't get a dividend. Electricity prices in data-center-heavy areas have jumped 267% over five years. One Virginia homeowner watched his monthly bill go from about $100 to $281 in a single January. Nearly 80% of Americans now worry data centers will push their own bills higher, and that worry is where Elena's neighbor in Goodyear lives.

ENERGY
150 GW
The brownouts Elena's grandson never sees, other kids already do. US data center power demand is set to nearly double, from 80 gigawatts in 2025 to 150 gigawatts by 2028. That's like plugging in an entire country the size of Spain. By 2028, data centers could eat 12% of all US electricity. Somebody's grid gets squeezed first.

MONEY
$1 Billion
The clinic Elena's grandson visits, paid for by campus taxes, is the trade towns are betting on today. Virginia and Texas each hand out close to $1 billion a year in data center tax breaks. But plenty of towns push back. Nearly $98 billion in projects got blocked or delayed in one recent stretch, and at least 25 were canceled outright. Not every town takes the deal.
Good Jobs First, Data Center Watch — 2025–2026

That's the transmission for today. Elena's letter is fiction. The reactors, the water math, and the bills are not. The old world and the new one are already trading places… quietly, township by township. See you tomorrow.
